Building our Community

Since one of the goals of SACE is to connect students of South Asian origin with one another, our community team works on different programs that accomplish this. Our house system groups members based on shared interests and personalities to provide a more intimate bonding experience. Our family system, which includes big-little pairings, provides newer members with mentors that can show them around Nashville and support them as they figure out college. Endeavors our community team has taken on this year are a DEI committee to facilitate conversation amongst marginalized groups within the South Asian diaspora and ensure our events are truly inclusive of all the South Asian culture has to offer.
