The Dances of South Asia (TDS)
TDS, which stands for the Dances of South Asia, is the annual cultural showcase for Vanderbilt SACE. Every year, we put on a show filled with different dances representing South Asia and a dinner complete with a South Asia Menu. Below are the three elements to our annual showcase.

Dinner
Come for the food, stay for the culture, right? We always have two dinner times to accomodate as many people as we can. Menus consist of a number of South Asian dishes, accomodating dietary restrictions such as halal, vegetarian, and vegan diets.

The Show!
Lasting around 3 hours, our annual showcase consists of multiple dances, a skit, and guest acts from other student organizations on campus. Our goal is to showcase the South Asian culture through singing, dancing, and acting.

Our Afterparty
As a tradition, SACE puts together one afterparty for the student community. Some of the precautionary measures we take are Community Service Officers controlling how many students enter the party, adult bartenders trained by the university, and numerous adult advisors floating through the party to make sure all students are safe.
